Meet Our Providers

Rebecca L. Yukica, DO

Dr. Rebecca grew up as a Jersey Girl. She moved to Massachusetts for college, and although she has moved many times since, she has landed in the Upper Valley to stay. Dr. Rebecca graduated from Smith College and then spent two years teaching high school chemistry at National Cathedral School in Washington DC before heading to medical school. She graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001.

Following her internship year at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Rebecca transferred to New Hampshire to complete her residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She stayed to do a Chief year and then moved to Baltimore, MD, to help start a hospitalist program at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. After two years in the city during which she was married and had twins, her family found it was time to return to the Upper Valley. It was in 2007 that Dr. Rebecca first joined Upper Valley Pediatrics as an attending pediatrician. She left once more to work in Washington State, but after 13 months decided that the west coast was never going to be home. So, she returned to VT and shortly after took over ownership from founding physician Mark Harris, MD.

When not at work, you will most likely find Dr. Rebecca skiing, mountain biking, hiking or pursuing some other adventure with her husband and three sons.

Katie is board certified in pediatric primary care through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Katie is a New Haven native and has enjoyed growing up in a small city environment with lots of yummy pizza. She completed her undergraduate degree in Theology at Dickinson College in Carlisle Pennsylvania where she studied the overlap between religion and ethics within healthcare.

Katie’s experience as a registered nurse working in community health and as a former middle school teacher in Connecticut, helped to shape her passion for advocating for and serving the underserved. Katie has worked with children for the past 10 years and could not imagine working with any other population. Katie’s interests within medicine include Type 2 Diabetes care in children and asthma.

Katie continues to work with Yale School of Nursing as a Lecturer. In her spare time, she enjoys ballet, running, hiking, and kayaking with her family.

Roshelle Morrison, FNP-C

Roshelle Morison is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who received her education at Simmons University. She is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American
Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Roshelle grew up in a small rural town in Maine. Initially, she pursued a degree in biochemistry with hopes of conducting pediatric cancer research in a laboratory. Upon graduating from Saint Anselm College during the COVID-19 pandemic, she realized how vital human connection was to her career. With her passion for medicine and human connection, she pivoted and pursued nursing. After completing her master’s degree in Boston, she realized how much she missed the strength and compassion that comes with rural communities.

Roshelle’s experience as a registered nurse at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in the Float Pool and Emergency Department helped shape her passion for community health and preventive medicine. Roshelle is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care and building meaningful relationships with her patients and their families. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and comfortable taking an active role in their health.

Outside of work, Roshelle enjoys reading, line dancing, and spending time with her puppy, Ember. She is excited to be part of the community and looks forward to caring for and getting to know her patients.
